Trip Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu

Upon your arrival at the airport, our company representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel, where you will meet our team. We will hold a pre-tour briefing in the evening, around 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. This is a great opportunity to get acquainted with your group members before dinner. Enjoy an authentic Nepalese welcome dinner featuring traditional cuisine and cultural dance.

Day 02: Full-day Kathmandu Photography. Overnight in Nagarkot

Today, you will have the opportunity to photograph Kathmandu Valley with our experienced city tour guide. Our itinerary includes several remarkable sites:

  • SWAYAMBHUNATH STUPA, also known as the monkey temple, is climbed by a long set of steps and offers great views of Kathmandu.
  • KATHMANDU DURBAR SQUARE is the palace of the Malla and Shah Kings who ruled over the city. The breathtaking architecture that surrounds it vividly displays the talents of the Newar artists and craftsmen over many centuries.
  • BOUDHANATH STUPA features many traditional gompas hung with strings of multi-colored prayer flags. It attracts many Sherpas and Tibetans for the circumambulations of the stupa (koras).
  • PASHUPATINATH TEMPLE is a Hindu temple with burning ghats on the banks of the Bagmati River.
Drive to NAGARKOT , which is 32km from Kathmandu, and spend the night there.

Day 03: Photography in Bhaktapur and Patan.

  • Enjoy the stunning sunrise and breathtaking mountain views in Nagarkot early in the morning. After you visit Nagarkot, take a city tour to explore Changunarayan, Bhaktapur, and Patan.
    • CHANGUNARAYAN is considered the oldest temple in Nepal and exhibits the development of Newari religious architecture.
    • BHAKTAPUR is the third largest city in the Kathmandu valley and was once the capital of Nepal during the great Malla Kingdom until the second half of the 15th century. It is known as "The City of Devotees" and is also referred to as "Bhadgaon" or "Ancient Newari Town.".
    • PATAN is the largest city in the Kathmandu Valley and is known as the city of festivals and feasts.

    Day 04: Kathmandu to Pokhara (200km)

    After an early breakfast and check-out of the hotel, you will take a scenic drive to Pokhara. The journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara takes you through Nepal's beautiful hills and valleys, covering approximately 200 kilometers. Typically, this route takes 6-7 hours to complete by road. The drive provides breathtaking views of the Himalayas, green forests, and terraced fields, making it a popular choice for both locals and tourists. You can stop at various viewpoints and small towns along the way to experience Nepalese culture and hospitality. When you arrive in Pokhara, you will be transferred to your hotel. In the evening, take a walk or go boating on the famous Fewa Lake. Spend a peaceful night at your Pokhara hotel.

    Day 05: Pokhara Photography

    Very early in the morning, drive to Sarankot for the sunrise view.

    • Sarangkot is located on a hilltop about 5 km west of the city of Pokhara. It offers stunning panoramic views of the Himalayan Mountain Range, including the Annapurna massif, Dhaulagiri, and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail). It is a popular spot for paragliding and is also known for its sunrise and sunset views.
    • Devi's fall also known as Patale Chango, is a waterfall located around 2 km southwest of the city of Pokhara, Nepal. The Pardi Khola stream, which disappears underground and emerges on the other side of a tunnel-like gorge, is what creates the magnificent waterfall.
    • Gupteshwor Cave is a limestone cave located across from Devi's fall in Pokhara, Nepal. The cave is around 3 km from the city center and is a popular tourist attraction. The cave is believed to have been formed millions of years ago and is named after Lord Shiva, one of the Hindu deities.
    • World Peace Pagoda, also known as Shanti Stupa, is a Buddhist monument located on top of Ananda Hill in Pokhara, Nepal. The Nipponzan-Myhji Buddhist order constructed it, and 1999 saw its opening. The pagoda is designed to promote world peace and harmony and is one of the 80 peace pagodas that have been built around the world.

    Day 06: Pokhara to Lumbini (203km)

    After a hearty breakfast, you will drive for 5 hours from Pokhara to Lumbini, in Nepal's western region. You will stop in Tansen for lunch on the way, but dinner will be served once you arrive in Lumbini. After checking into the hotel, you will have some free time to relax before the tour begins. The tour will begin in the 'New Tourist' village, where you will see the World Peace Pagoda and the museum. This complex is part of a larger plan to introduce Buddhism and purify the mind through a monastic zone, which includes Mahayana and Theravada Buddhist monasteries from across the canon. You will then visit the Maya Devi Temple, which houses the 'Marker Stone,' the Statue of the Nativity Scene, and the ruins of old temple walls dating from the 3rd century BC to the 12th century AD. The Asoka Pillar still stands, with inscriptions describing his visit to the Buddha's birthplace.

    Day 07: Photography in Lumbini

    On this day, you will travel to Tilaurakot, Gotihawa, Kudan, Niglihara, and Sagarhawa to see various religious and archaeological sites. Tilaurakot is the ancient Kapilavastu, Shakyas' capital, where Buddha lived for his first 29 years. King Suddhodana built the Kudan (Nigrodharma Park) specifically to accommodate Buddha and his followers. Kudan is where Buddha's father received him after he attained enlightenment. Krakuchanda Buddha was born in Gotihawa, whereas Kanakmuni Buddha was born in Niglihawa. Finally, you will visit Sagarhawa, which has archaeological findings and is known as the "place of the Shakya massacre." Following the tour, you will return to Lumbini and spend the night there.

    Day 08: Lumbini to Bardia National Park

    After a hearty breakfast, we will embark on a scenic 6.5-hour drive to Bardia National Park, a pristine wilderness of grasslands and riverine forests. This park is the largest in the lowland of western Terai, covering an expansive area of 968 sq. km. It serves as a transition zone between the northern plains of India and the outer foothills of the majestic Himalayas.

    Upon arrival, we'll have the opportunity to meet the welcoming hosts and friendly locals, gaining valuable insights into the village life of this region. In the evening, we'll be treated to a captivating cultural performance by the Tharus, dressed in their vibrant and colorful costumes. This unique program is exclusive to the area and showcases the distinct traditions of the Tharu community in Nepal. Throughout the journey, you will encounter picturesque towns and rural regions, and potentially pass by riverbanks, undulating hills, and verdant fields, offering insights into local life.     Day 12: Jungle Safari and Photography

    On this day, you will participate in a full day of jungle activities in Sauraha, which includes:

    • Crocodile Safari: You can take a boat ride along the Rapti or Narayani River to observe crocodiles in their natural habitat. The Rapti River flows through Chitwan National Park and is home to a significant population of crocodiles.
    • Elephant Safari: You can enjoy a unique elephant ride through the lush jungle and grasslands of Chitwan National Park, which is home to rare and endangered species like one-horned rhinoceros, Bengal tigers, and Asian elephants.

The distance between Sauraha and Kathmandu is approximately 164 kilometers, and it takes around 5–6 hours to drive, depending on traffic conditions. Along the way, you can enjoy the scenic beauty of the countryside, and you may also stop at some of the towns and villages to explore the local culture and traditions. Once you reach Kathmandu, you can check in to your accommodation and rest for the day, or you can explore the city and its many attractions.

    Day 14: Transfer to Kathmandu International airport for departure

    Today, we will transfer to Kathmandu International Airport for our departure. After enjoying a hearty breakfast at the hotel, we will gather our belongings and make our way to the airport. We will ensure that we reach the airport well in time to complete all the necessary formalities and board our flight. Before we bid adieu to this enchanting country, take one last look at the breathtaking views of the Himalayas and take a moment to appreciate the warm hospitality and kindness of the Nepalese people. This marks the end of our tour, and we hope you had a memorable and enjoyable time in Nepal.
