The road becomes slightly winding as it climbs through lush green forests, providing a refreshing break and beautiful views of the hills. You may even stop for tea or lassi at the top. After crossing the Daunne Hills, you'll descend into the wide Nawalparasi Valley. Enjoy an easy drive through towns like Dumkibas, Kawasoti, and Gaindakot before crossing the Narayani River into Narayanghat (Bharatpur), where you can admire the broad river and observe the activity along its banks.

Finally, continue a short distance east, turn at Tandi Chowk, and head toward the Chitwan National Park gate to enter Sauraha. From Narayanghat, turn onto the Mugling–Narayanghat Highway and enter the dramatic Trishuli River gorge, driving through cliffs and deep valleys where the road follows the river and offers striking views, though careful driving is needed due to winding bends and occasional rockfall-prone areas. Continue to Mugling, the main highway junction, and cross the bridge to join the Prithvi Highway, while enjoying riverside views, rafting activities, and a refreshing break. Afterward, continue the drive through Malekhu, Galchhi, and Naubise, passing terraced fields, small towns, and ongoing road construction sections as you gradually approach the hills. Finally, begin the steep climb toward Nagdhunga Pass at Thankot, where the road winds sharply up the hillside before reaching the top, and then descend into the busy urban area of Kathmandu, entering the valley through Kalanki and returning to the capital city.
